How/Where Did They Live They were Nomadic or moved where the food was.
They first lived in Northern Texas then to the Mountains and Basins Region. Since they moved around a lot they lived in teepees, since they are easy to carry and light weight. Customs
One of their customs were when you get engaged you move in with the woman’s family and work for them. They would also sometimes marry their siblings and cousins.They used fur and skin from animals they killed for clothing. Adults didn’t cut their hair, only when they were children. |
Things They ate
Because of where they lived they hunted based on the on the area.They would eat things they hunted like buffalo, deer, antelope, rabbits, & ect. They never put anything to waste and used it for things besides food. Fun Facts
Their name means enemy to all neighbors and enemies. They were really good at arts , crafts, and making baskets. The women were as much a part of the tribe as men were. They used two languages West Apache and East Apache. |
